This year’s field day will focus on soil health for farming systems in Lafayette County. Hosted by Berget Family Farms, the field is located on Hwy 11, just outside of Gratiot. Lunch starts at 12:15, field demos to follow.

Where: Gratiot, Hwy 11, just west of village limits, and west of the bank. Look for signage.
Details: Lunch and seating will be under a tent. Field day will proceed rain or shine. Restrooms available. Water provided. Consider sunscreen and bug spray.

12:15 P.M. Buffet lunch catered by The General Store
1:00 P.M. Attendees split into four groups and proceed through four designated stations:
- RTK demo with strip till and planter
- Soil pit – Featuring Lafayette County conservationist
- Cover crop garden – with several varieties and planting techniques
- LASA member station – membership, benefits, programs and costs
3:00 P.M. Field Day Concludes
