Curt and Debbie Miller decided they needed to do something different last fall and heard about LASA’s first-time cover crop cost-share program through The Nature Conservancy. With the $1,000 funds they received to plant rye after corn silage they were able to reduce wind and water erosion on their 240-acre farm that sits atop many hills in Belmont, Wis. They became LASA members in October. Below is a handwritten letter they sent to LASA.
