Lafayette Ag Stewardship Alliance
to host conference and annual meeting Feb. 25

DARLINGTON, Wis. — The Lafayette Ag Stewardship Alliance, a farmer-led watershed conservation group, will host its conference and annual meeting on Feb. 25.

More than 100 farmers, agribusiness professionals and community members are expected to attend this free event in Darlington. The public and news media are welcome.

12 p.m. Lunch and 2019 program review — Jim Winn, LASA president

12:45 p.m. Regional Conservation Partnership Program and Farmland Preservation update — Coreen Fallat and Wednesday Jordan, Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection

1 p.m. Keynote presentation: Conservation practices for dairy feed production — Dr. Brian Luck, assistant professor and state extension specialist, UW-Madison Biological Systems Engineering

1:45 p.m. Ag Technology: Precise, Perceptive and Profitable panel presentation — Wade Black, Ritchie Implement and Joe Brunker, Sloan Implement, moderated by Mike Berget, Berget Family Farms
